Shibuya
109 is a chain of Japanese department stores, with the most well known location being in Shibuya, Tokyo — Shibuya 109. An emoji of this store existed in the original Softbank emoji set in Japan, but did not get included as part of emoji standardization in Unicode 6.0.
This was one of the few emojis available in Apple iOS 6, that did not remain in future iOS or macOS releases. Despite this, it continues to be supported by Twemoji.
The details of its exclusion are noted in Google's project to bring emoji into Unicode. The codepoint for Shibuya remains a Private Use Area character where implemented.
